Type Locality and Naming

By the predominance of sandstones, Khorezm depression. I.M.Abdurazimov in 1996.

Synonym: Paltauskaya (=Sandy) Topitsa, Песчаная т.


Lithology and Thickness

Sands, gray sandstones with layers of clays. Thickness 15-60m.

Lies with erosion on the Borehole Terrigenous Fm

Upper contact

It is overlain with erosion by the Paleocene.
